'Black Hops'

The flower is black purple with an iridescent dark purple eyezone, white picotee on petals and sepals and a green throat. The iridescent eye is very difficult to capture in a photograph. Selected by Matt Ziebell, our garden savior, who helps us at the farm with bed building, clump digging, weed wacking, heavy mowing ~~~ all of the 'fun' jobs. He is an up and coming brewmeister who is already creating fabulous beer thus the name BLACK HOPS. Fertile both ways.
